Graduate in Chemistry at Universidade Federal de Goiás (1991), Master's and PhD in Chemistry at Universidade Federal de São Carlos (1994, 1997). Postdoctorate in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance at Universidade Federal de São Carlos (2007). Has experience in Chemistry, focusing on the Chemistry of Natural Products, with a focus on the following subjects: cheiloclinium cognatum, hippocrateaceae, rubiaceae, and artemia salina. In NMR, works with food, fuels, and biofuels. Coordinator of NMR Laboratory at UFG.
