Dr. Jitendra Kumar Sinha

Dr Sinha has over fifteen years of pre-clinical R&D experience in different areas of neurosciences, particularly in the neurobiology of obesity, sleep and neurodegeneration. He has ample research experience at various national and international research institutions of repute including University of New South Wales, Australia; University of Verona, Italy; National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore; ICMR – National Institute of Nutrition (NIN), Hyderabad; and CSIR - Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad. Dr Sinha is a member of editorial boards of Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience and Matters. He is a life member of the Molecular and Cellular Cognition Society (MCCS), Indian Academy of Neurosciences (IAN), Nutrition Society of India (NSI), Society for Neurochemistry India (SNCI), Society for Biological Chemists India (SBCI) amongst others. Dr Sinha has more than 40 international publications in reputed journals like The Lancet and Neuroscience, with a Cumulative Impact Factor of more than 180. He has published 30 International Book Chapters. He has received 9 awards & fellowships from the prestigious International Brain Research Organization (IBRO). He has also received awards from the Govt of India, UNESCO, Japan Neuroscience Society, Society for Neurosciences (SfN - USA), International Society for Neurochemistry (ISN), FAONS and the Korean Society of Lipid and Atherosclerosis.
