Kecheng Xu obtained his BE (2018) from the University of Alberta and is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Toronto, Canada. His research interests include aerodynamics, flow mechanics, and turbulence, with a focus on active flow control, particularly using synthetic jets. He has developed a synthetic jet array for separation control on a NACA 0025 airfoil wing and demonstrated the effectiveness of the control via PIV and surface pressure measurements.
