Dr. Freya Harrison

Short Biography

Dr. Freya Harrison is an associate professor (reader) in the School of Life Sciences at the University of Warwick. Her key interests are chronic biofilm infections, the development of high-validity biofilm models and the discovery of novel agents to treat these infections. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Oxford. From 2008–2009, she was a post-doctoral research officer at the Biodiversity Lab, University of Bath. She was a fellow by examination at Magdalen College, University of Oxford, 2009–2012. From 2012 to 2016, she was a post-doctoral research fellow at the School of Life Sciences, University of Nottingham.
