Dr. Freya Harrison is an associate
professor (reader) in the School of Life Sciences at the University of Warwick. Her key interests are chronic biofilm infections, the development of high-validity biofilm models and the discovery of novel agents to treat these infections. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Oxford. From 2008–2009, she was a
post-doctoral research officer at the Biodiversity Lab, University of Bath. She
was a fellow by examination at Magdalen College, University of Oxford, 2009–2012.
From 2012 to 2016, she was a post-doctoral research fellow at the School of
Life Sciences, University of Nottingham.
