Prof. Fedora Grande conducts scientific research and teaching activities in the scientific-disciplinary sector CHIM/08-Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the Department of Pharmacy and Health and Nutrition Sciences of the University of Calabria, in close collaboration with several national and international research groups. She has participated as an organizer and speaker in various national and international conferences and serves on the editorial boards of several scientific journals. She has been in charge of scientific research projects entrusted to you by public and private institutions, as well as different research assignments abroad. Her research activity is focused on computer-aided design studies, synthesis, and evaluation of the activity of new molecules of synthetic and natural origin that are candidates for drugs with antiviral and anticancer properties or useful in supplementation and/or the treatment of metabolic disorders. Professor Grande teaches three-year and single-cycle degree courses, as well as I- and II-level post-graduate training courses at the University of Calabria. Furthermore, she is a member of the teaching staff at PhD schools. She participates on several teaching committees for the pharmacy degree program, and she has been named vice coordinator for the same course of study since 2021. Since 2022, she has been Associate Professor in Medicinal Chemistry, at the DFSSN, University of Calabria.
