Degree and Master in Mining Engineering and PhD in Natural Resources and Environment from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). He has participated in several research projects, including a Horizon 2020 programme, regional calls and private projects with local and international mining companies. He has been an associated professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the UPC, a lecturer at the School of Mines of the University of Cantabria and is currently a lecturer at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He is also a guest editor at MDPI publishing house and has been a reviewer of papers in indexed journals of the same publishing house. He is also author and co-author of several articles indexed in ISI JCR and has participated in prestigious international conferences. His fields of research include mineral processing and pollution and environmental mitigation in mining and industrial activities.
