Shahrum Abdullah is a professor in the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Selangor, Malaysia. He received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Sheffield University, Sheffield, United Kingdom. His research interests include fatigue life assessment, fracture mechanics, mechanics of materials signal analysis and engineering design.
