Igor V. Khudyakov was born in
Moscow, Russia (USSR). He spent his childhood in Helsinki, Finland. He
graduated from the Moscow State University, Chemistry Department. He worked as
a research chemist and a professor at the Academy of Sciences of the USSR.
Since 1990 Igor has been living in the USA working in the chemical industry and
academia as a physical chemist. He did a
postdoc with Professor N.J. Turro at Columbia University. Igor and his
coworkers discovered (a) pseudodiffusion reactions, (b) magnetic field effects
and cage effect dynamics in the viscous liquids, and (c) magnetic isotope
effect on uranium. Igor is the author of
250 peer-reviewed publications and holds 21 US patents.
