Stefania Stefani is a full-time Professor of Microbiology, has published 240 papers in internationally reviewed journals, and is responsible for the Laboratory of Molecular Medical Microbiology and Study of Antimicrobial Resistance (MMARL) in the Department of Biomedical and Biotechnological Sciences at the University of Catania.
Prof. Stefani is the scientific director of numerous projects funded by national and international agencies. She has been the supervisor of researchers, PhD students, and second-level students since 1990. She has been invited as a speaker at numerous roundtables at national and international scientific congresses.
