Veronica Cimolin has a Master's degree in Bioengineering from the Politecnico di Milano in 2002 and obtained a Ph.D. in Bioengineering in 2007 at Politecnico di Milano in the quantitative analysis of movement for the assessment of functional limitation in children with Cerebral Palsy. At present, she is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electronics, Information, and Bioengineering of Politecnico di Milano. Since 2007, she has continued her research at the “Luigi Divieti” Posture and Movement Analysis Laboratory. Her research activity is quantitative movement analysis for clinical and rehabilitative applications, and she participates in several movement analysis laboratories of national and international institutes. She is teacher of the courses “Impianti ospedalieri e sicurezza” and “Analisi e organizzazione di sistemi sanitari”. She is the author of more than 170 papers in international journals indexed in Scopus/Isi Web of Knowledge.
