Nunzia Coppola graduated, in 2015, from the Physics department at the Federico II University of Napoli (Italy) with a thesis on sputtered superconductive cuprates. He obtained a Ph.D in Industrial Engineering at the University of Salerno in 2020 with a thesis on the fabrication and characterization of the gadolinium-doped ceria barrier layer using PVD techniques. Currently, he is a research fellow at the Industrial Engineering Department of University of Salerno and is involved in the realization of materials (mainly manganites, cuprates and oxides in general) by means of PVD techniques (sputtering and molecular beam epitaxy).
