Prof. Dr. Roberto Mancinelli is an associate professor in Agroecology, Agronomy, and Crop Science at the Department of Agricultural and Forestry Science (DAFNE). He is the head of the M.Sc. Degree in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. His teaching activities have consisted of many different courses in the agroecology, agronomy, and crop science fields. Since 1995, he has participated in a multitude of national and international research projects as either the scientific manager or as a participant in a research unit, focusing on aspects of environmentally friendly agriculture and agroecology. His studies and research are closely related to the science of agroecology as a discipline, based on ecological principles of the study, design, and sustainable management of agroecosystems that maintain production levels and natural resources and are important from cultural, social, and economic points of view in terms of sustainability.
