Eng. Roberta Pernetti is a researcher in the field of occupational and environmental health at University of Pavia (Occupational medicine unit at the Department of public health, experimental and forensic medicine). She worked on the definition of computational models for characterizing the indoor thermal conditions and the related energy need. In the last recent years, her research deals with monitoring and controlling the indoor air quality in 3D printing and metal additive manufacturing sites. The aim is to characterize the potential exposures of the operators dealing with different processes and boundary conditions and to support the definition of effective working procedures for minimising hazards.
