Jason Gu earned his Ph.D. (2001) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He is a Full Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, School of Biomedical Engineering, Dalhousie University and a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada, Halifax, Canada. He is also a Cross-Appointed Professor at the School of Biomedical Engineering for his multidisciplinary research work. His research areas include robotics, biomedical engineering, control systems, and intelligent systems.
