Dr. Silvana Mirella Aliberti is currently a Research Fellow in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine at the Department of Medicine, Surgery, and Dentistry "Scuola Medica Salernitana" at the University of Salerno, Italy. She has also been appointed Adjunct Professor for the Master's Program in Preventive and Functional Medicine at the International University of Dresden, Germany. She holds a Ph.D. in Translational Medicine of Development and Active Aging, with focus on the integrated management of frailty, chronic diseases, and multimorbidity. She is also an Expert in Environmental management and Land recovery and a member of the Interdepartmental Observatory for Gender and Equal Opportunities Studies (OGEPO) at the University of Salerno, Italy. Her research interests include public health, epidemiology, environmental health, global health, community wellbeing, quality of life, healthspan, and longevity.
