Prof. Stefania Annarita Nottola currently serves as a Full Professor at the Department of Anatomy, Histology, Forensic Medicine, and Orthopaedics at Sapienza University, Rome, Italy. She received her M.D. degree in Medicine and Surgery with honors from Sapienza University of Rome in 1984 and her Ph.D. degree from the Ministry of University and of Scientific and Technological Research, Italy. She worked as an Assistant Professor (researcher) at the Department of Anatomy, University “La Sapienza” (1998-2000), and as an Associate Professor of Human Anatomy, Department of Anatomy, Histology, Forensic Medicine, and Orthopaedics at the University “La Sapienza”, Rome, Italy (2000-2019). She served as the Vice-President (2000-2005) and Secretary (2005-2010) of the Research Committee of the Faculty of Medicine, University “La Sapienza”. Prof. Nottola is also a member of the Web Site Committee of the Department and a member of the Research Committee of the Department. Her main research area is biology of reproduction.
