Ehsan Jamshidpour received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Lorraine in Nancy, France in 2014, and his M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran in 2001. He served as an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Energy and Hydro Technology in Kermanshah, Iran from 2003 to 2010. He then worked as a senior lecturer at ECAM Strasbourg Europe from 2016 to 2020, and was also affiliated with the ICube laboratory at the University of Strasbourg. In September 2020, he joined the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Electricité et de Mécanique (ENSEM) at the University of Lorraine in Nancy, where he currently works as an Assistant Professor. He is also affiliated with the GREEN laboratory in Nancy. His research focuses on electric motor drives, fault detection and fault tolerance in power electronic converters, and renewable energy.
