Huang Duan (male born in 1990 in Ningxiang, Changsha) is a member of the Communist Party of China. In June 2017, he graduated from the Department of Electronic engineering of Shanghai Communications with a Doctor's degree in Information and Telecommunications Engineering. In 2017, he joined Central South University as an Associate Professor, and he currently serves as the Associate Dean of the Department of Communication. In the past 5 years, Google Academic Database has participated in publishing SCI with over 2000 citations, published over 50 SCI papers, and applied for over 40 invention patents. Recently, Huang Duan has presided over key pre-research projects for the General Equipment Department and key projects in the Innovation Special Zone. Projects that have been completed or participated in as project backbones include the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Defense Science and Industry Bureau key projects, the National Defense 863, the National Natural Science Foundation key projects, Huawei key projects, etc. He has also presided over and participated in project backbones with project funds exceeding CNY 20 million and has rich engineering experience.
In 2017, the team began to establish the Optoelectronic Information Engineering Center of the Central South University, which has now been upgraded to the key laboratory of optoelectronic intelligent measurement and control in the Hunan Province.
