Prof. Dr. Mariana Matera Veras has been working as a Senior Research Scientist in Pathology at the School of Medicine University of Sao Paulo in Sao Paulo, Brazil, since 2009. She has been the Head of the Laboratory of Environmental Pathology since 2020. Her research interests mainly focus on air pollution; environmental pathology; and toxicology. She is a Guest Editor of the MDPI Special Issue “Ambient Air Pollution and Its Impact on Public Health: Perspectives and Advances in Estimating Associated Costs”.
