Prof. Kowiyou Yessoufou is an associate professor at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, in the Department of Geography, Environmental Management and Energy Studies. His works focus on ecology and sustainability, covering all pillars of sustainability, i.e., environmental, social, and economic pillars. He earned a PhD in botany from the University of Johannesburg in 2012.
