Haijian Liu received the M.S. degree from North Texas University and Ph.D. degree from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, in 2013 and 2017 respectively.
He is currently an assistant professor with the Institute of Remote Sensing and Earth Sciences, Hangzhou Normal University, Zhejiang Provincical Key Laboratory of Urban Wetlands and Regional Change, 2318 Yuhangtang Road, Yuhang District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang 311121, PR China.
His research interests are in the fields of remote sensing, forestry ecology and spatial analysis, especially focusing on forest modelling based on LiDAR data and tree species identification based on multi-source remote sensing data.
