Wilbert "Bill" Cobbs (June 16, 1934 – June 25, 2024) was an American movie and television actor. He starred in over 120 movies and television programs.

Cobbs was born on June 16, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio.[1] Cobbs was the second cousin of American actor James Baskett.
Career[change | change source]
Cobbs career began during 1973 in the movie Santa Buddies: The Legend of Santa Paws. He is known for his role in The Bodyguard. Cobbs latest appearance was in The Muppets (2011) and in Oz the Great and Powerful (2013). Cobbs was not married and lived in Los Angeles, California and in New York City, New York. Cobbs continued to act.
