Omen

Set apart from the moment he was born and raised to lead, for his people, Omen was to be a replacement for the god that in centuries past had turned his back and abandoned them. To his elders he was a flawless avatar of the great daemon who sired his line, but those who knew him best saw the cracks- the soft nature that would inevitably bring their religion, their community, their very way of life crashing down if left unchecked.

thelost-teller asked:

But the real question is, what is Cirian’s alignment?? I would say something like Lawful neutral but now I’m curious o^o

Good question! When his game started he would definitely have been some variety of evil- probably neutral evil. These days he’s more like neutral good. Though my DM thinks he’s true neutral and we argue about it a lot.
My DM believes the definition of good boils down to how highly one values life. And while Cirian’s come a long way regarding that, he’s still not entirely above just murdering people he thinks are irredeemably evil or who just tick him off in a specific way- read people who abuse their power and who exploit the helpless and see no problem with that, or are proud of it even. At the end of the day, he’s someone who was raised by a narcissist, who barely feels emotions, and who is trying his best to be a good person.

Omen, the Bladesinger

I had a D&D character die about a year ago in a game with some friends and I’ve been trying to come up with a new character for a while. Omen was one of the runners up, but just didn’t fit the game, so I’ll just hang on to him and use him some other time.

When the world was still young, barely even a century after it fell from perfection and became fodder to the gods and titans of the outer planes, Omen was born. One of his ancestors had met Graz'zt and been shown what their world would one day become. This ancestor started the cult of Graz'zt that Omen was born into. He has been groomed from birth to one day lead the cult. However, those already on the cult’s leading council weren’t so keen on sharing power and tried their best to keep him relegated to the role of a figurehead.

Feel free to color your own Tiefling Blade dancer if you’re so inclined!

*That’s not how you play a violin..

-Some doodles for my Tiefling bard.  He’s had many names, but none of them were truly his own.  When he was young he was called Rose, now most know him as Quinn, and with each new name, he puts to death the part of him that grew to fit the old name and the old life.
