I'd like to spotlight my friend Bilal @bilal-salah0's campaign today. Bilal has been living in Germany for the past 7 months, and is fundraising for his family back in Gaza.

His father's shoe business, the family's sole income source, was destroyed in the war, and the money Bilal is raising is now crucial for covering their daily expenses. Food and water are scarce and often contaminated, leading to the spread of skin diseases and viral infections, especially among very young children. Bilal is worried about his whole family, particularly his young nieces and nephews.

Because the Rafah crossing has been closed, the money Bilal has raised so far has been partially used to pay for basic necessities: gas, food, etc. These goods are being sold at exorbitant prices—when they are even available—and the family have had to raise their goal from €70,000 to €100,000.

Bilal is facing possible deportation from Germany on August 15, so this campaign is urgent. He needs to raise the funds before then to support his family's needs.

His campaign is #136 on @/el-shab-hussein and @/nabulsi's spreadsheet. Please, donate and share.

Trapped Family in Gaza Appeals for Help to Survive🥹🍉

🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸

I am Mohammed Alanqer, married to Enas Majed. We have three children, and recently, during the war, we welcomed a new baby, making our children four now. We pray to God to protect them and keep them safe from harm in this harsh war.💔🥹

When the war began, I was deeply worried about our three children, and now, with the arrival of our new baby, our concerns have only grown. For over 300 days, we have been suffering and fleeing from one place to another. We pray to God to protect our children and keep them safe from harm in this harsh war.💔🥹

Amidst the ongoing war in Gaza, we find ourselves as a family trapped between walls of fear and despair. I, Mohammed, a father of three children and a husband to a woman in her eighth month of pregnancy, live in an environment filled with threats and risks.🌹

My technology startup, which I built with dedication and hard work, was destroyed during this war, leading to the loss of our livelihood. My children, Layan, Sarah, and Adam, no longer have the opportunity for education due to the destruction of schools, posing a significant threat to their future.

My wife, Enas, lives in constant anxiety due to her advanced pregnancy and the destruction of hospitals in the area. After losing my job and source of income, I find myself in a severe financial crisis, unable to provide for the needs and safety of my family.

Our family home was destroyed due to the war, forcing us to flee and move multiple times, leaving us homeless. Everything has become difficult now; we cannot provide a safe place to live, nor can we afford clean clothes and food for our children. Additionally, our children have been afflicted with diseases such as measles, and our son Adam has been diagnosed with viral hepatitis.

Our only hope now is to escape from this ongoing hell and find a safe haven for our family. However, this requires exorbitant financial costs, with the coordination fee for crossing borders amounting to $5000 per adult and $2500 per child, a sum I cannot afford alone.

- "My home before the war "-

We urgently appeal for your moral and financial assistance to cover the necessary costs for escaping to a safe environment, where we can build a better future for our children and ensure the safety of our family

- "My home in the war" -

Thank you for your attention and support, and we hope you can help us in these difficult circumstances.

behind every successful man is a woman and her cursed amulet

spoiler alert: the amulet itself isn't actually cursed any more than anything else is under patriarchy

thank you. it's important that we de-stigmatize the amulet

No, keep stigmatising the amulet. For everybody's sake, keep stigmatising the amulet

URGENT HELP 🚨

Hello, I'm Ola, a graduate student from the faculty of science - Al-Azhar University in Gaza Palestine. I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story. As you reading my message, myself and my family, “my mother, father, three sisters, and my little brother,” are fighting death in northern Gaza and trying to survive under all kinds of suffering including but not limited to destruction, fear, and instability, starvation, thirst, and poverty.

For nine months until now, we have been struggling to get proper food after prices increased by 15 to 20 times, struggling to have clean water for use and drinking. We lacked security and stability as we were forced to evacuate our house and left everything behind. Then we had to move at least three times since every new area we seek refuge to gets bombed.

I sincerely hope you can empathize with our dire situation and consider supporting us. You can follow me to make sure I am not a scammer and to inquire about any details. Your generosity has the power to make a significant difference.

Please donate and/or replog 🥺🙏🇵🇸

Tel père, telle fille.

Back in your cage, sweetheart... We endure each other for Louis' happiness. So come home and make him happy. — IWTV (2022—), Season 1 Episode 6, Like Angels Put in Hell by God Translate all that to mean this: We have no money to launch a real ecclesiastical career for you, to make you a bishop or cardinal as befits our rank, so you have to live out your life here as an illiterate and a beggar.
