A Quilt Finish...

For the RSC 2023, I chose to use the X-Block ruler to make my blocks.

It's been finished for a  l-o-n-g  time but I finally got to work to make a sandwich & then add quilting using a straight ruler.

I'm HaPPy with the result.

The backing fabric is very pretty too...

AnD...

with the fabric cut off during the making of the above X-blocks... 

I stitched them together to make a border for another Baby tummy time quilt.

This one will be worked on/ finished later...

FNSI

 After quilting this Community quilt yesterday I managed to sew 

the binding & label on last night at FNSI.

And I also put together another Flower Basket block...

SeWinG...

 I made another 3 Car Trash Bags for our Exhibition sale table.

I also prepared another Community Quilt ready for quilting.
It's only a small one BuT I'm sure a charity will use it.

Using scrap blocks ALWaYs makes me feel GooD...

Some Knitting & Using Felt

I found yarn in my stash & decided to knit a cardigan for my youngest grandson.
Nothing too special in design but using up yarn is always a pleasure.

My little man will know his Nanna loves him & will enjoy wearing it I'm sure.

 I love to sit and sew a project at night, so another NeedleCase was finished

Xmas Progress

DD#2 & myself need another stocking as there will be a new bub at Xmas. 

Mine is in green while DD wanted neutral so chose turquoise.

DD's one is cut out & ready to go, but mine was started.

So after using Teena during the morning to pass a rainy day away, I changed to this project to work on at FNwF last night.

Just needs the top sewn on now.

I'll wait for bub to arrive to add the name to "both" stockings.

I'll be over soon to check out what YOU worked on.

FiNaLLy FiNiSHeD...

I was gifted lots & lots of circles in varying sizes from my guild.

 WHaT To Do WiTH THeM ? 

I had an idea so at a retreat in Wyee last year, I started a Community quilt. 

This is what the finished quilt looks like after using those fabric circles...
