Marvel The Transformers comics
After his original suggestion for having a Transformer star in one of Rollie Friendly's films, Mitch Keno took out an issue of The Inquisitor reporting a sighting of Bigfoot on the front page, proposing Rollie use Bigfoot in his next movie. Persuaded, Rollie set up an expedition in the Great Smokies of North Carolina to hunt the creature. The National Guard was already there, fielding complaints about destroyed barns and chickens that won't lay eggs. They barred Rollie's crew from entering the area.
However, Rollie was able to bribe a local farmer into leading him to Bigfoot. The farmer's directions proved true, and Rollie was led to Bigfoot, who was in actuality Skullgrin. Misunderstandings were solved, farmers were paid off, and Skullgrin signed a contract with Rollie Friendly to star in his movie. Monstercon from Mars!
