It is, as of yet, unknown if the bird is the word.

The Bird is a mystical object that has great life restorative powers. It is most effective when it is placed in a rocky niche on top of a sacred mountain on Pz-Zazz. Once in place, it can only be removed by a few individuals.

Fiction

Marvel The Transformers comics

After the Bird had been removed from its niche by unknown persons, the once pleasant planet of Pz-Zazz began a swift process of decay. The powerful artifact was sought after by many people on the planet. Soon after Nightbeat, Hosehead, and Siren arrived on the planet seeking news about the Creation Matrix, an injured alien gave the Bird to Siren for safekeeping, but died before giving him any details about the object except for vague clues about it being important to the fates of the world. The three Autobots were busy with other business so they pawned it.

The three Autobots were then having a drink in a tavern when Nightbeat was vocally regretting the decision to ignore the Bird's significance. They were overheard by Miss Fatale who told them about a local legend of restorative mystical powers on top of a nearby mountain. Thinking that it might have something to do with the Matrix, they agreed to have Miss Fatale lead them there in exchange for the Bird. Nightbeat went to retrieve the Bird while the rest got a head start.

At the pawn shop. Nightbeat was confronted by a local gang leader, B'hgdad. Nightbeat used the artifact to clobber him. This action chipped off part of the Bird's outer casing, revealing shiny bits underneath. Nightbeat realized that the Bird was the source of the mountain's restorative powers and raced up the mountain. He found his group was being confronted by another gang leader Gutt. Gutt and his men attacked, but Hosehead and Siren easily stunned them.

When Nightbeat went to place the Bird back in its niche, Miss Fatale pleaded with him not to, saying they could share its power. Nightbeat confessed that he was initially tempted to use the Bird as a substitute for the Matrix to save the Transformers but realized he had no right to take it. When he put it back, it glowed radiantly and reversed the planet's decay. Miss Fatale had a change of heart and was glad for the people of Pz-Zazz. Bird of Prey!
