It's mildly embarassing to have to ask this, but since I'm getting around to Marvel US issue 26, I need to ask, so I can make sure to do the links right....
Should The Mechanic be listed as "The Mechanic" or as "Nestor Forbes"?--G.B. Blackrock 00:46, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
Hrm. Robot Master is listed as Donny Finkleberg, but Circuit Breaker and Lazarus are listed under their alter egos, and not as Josie Beller and Adam Rook. I would go with The Mechanic, but make Nestor Forbes a redirect. - RolonBolon 02:08, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
- I'd go with The Mechanic, too. (Donny Finkleberg isn't listed under Robot-Master because he was Robot-Master only for a few issues until he ran away and did stuff with the Autobots and Triple-I.) --ItsWalky 02:33, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, all!--G.B. Blackrock 03:39, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
I might be wrong, but I think "The Mechanic" might be acceptable in this case because it's actually part of his name. No-one ever just calls him "Mechanic". Right enough though, it is consistent with, say, Fallen.
And I am, infact, wrong. For some reason I picked up the impression it might be OK if it was a definate article, but I went to check the naming policy right after, and there's no mention of it.--TheTurnipKing 13:59, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
Incidentally, I also debated whether to use "The Mechanic" or "the Mechanic" in the text of the article for Issue #26 (in fact, perhaps this discussion should be moved there. It started out appropriate for this thread, but I don't think it is now), and finally settled on the lower-case version of the definite article, as "The" just didn't look right in the middle of a paragraph. If anyone thinks it should be the other way, it's a simple enough thing to change....--G.B. Blackrock 17:03, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
Occupations
Should we move all the various "job" categories under an "Occupations" subcategory under Characters? Or is it okay to keep it as it is? --ItsWalky 19:29, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
