The mighty Neptune Sword (海神剣 Kaijin Ken) is the trusty blade of the pirate king combiner God Neptune of the Space Pirate Seacons.

Beast Wars II cartoon
During God Neptune's first outing on Gaia against the Maximals, the combiner bragged about showing off the Neptune Sword's techniques—mostly taking swipes at his opponents and cleaving parts off boulders. When Scuba and Diver stole the Seacons' photon sailer, God Neptune took chase and used the Neptune Sword to make the seas rough for the world-be ship thieves. The Space Pirate Seacons!
Spurred into action by Galvatron's mockery, the Seacons lured the Maximals out into the ocean until they were trapped on a small bit of rock. They formed God Neptune to finish the job, splitting the Maximals' rock in twain with the Neptune Sword's "God Split" (ゴッドスプリット Goddo Supritto) technique. As God Neptune was about to make another strike with the sword, the Insectrons Bigmos and Tonbot interrupted the battle, and the Seacons were blown away by the Insectrons and the Maximals' teamwork. Showdown in the Sea The Neptune Sword was pulled out again when God Neptune faced off against Tripledacus and his Seven-Year Swords. The blades clashed till the other Maximals joined the battle and destroyed the pirate's footing with their firepower, sending him falling into the sea. Face the Setting Sun
In an one on one fight where they wagered the energy needed for the Seacons to get off Gaia, God Neptune used the Neptune Sword against Lio Convoy once he got his opponent out to sea. The combiner used the God Split attack again, which Lio Convoy was able to survive by using his Lio Missiles to neuter it by half. As the God Split literally split the sea and exposed the seafloor, Lio Convoy was able to easily maneuver to drier land. God Neptune pursued, but the battle was soon ended by the intervention of Megastorm, who accidentally set off an Angolmois Energy eruption. The Final Battle
On their way to Nemesis, the Maximals ran into the Seacons, who were brainwashed by Galvatron to serve as advance defense for the artificial planet. Facing off against fellow combiner Magnaboss and his Magna Blade, God Neptune pulled out the Neptune Sword and won the following duel of sword energies. Just as God Neptune was about to cut down Magnaboss, the other Maximals restrained him, allowing Magnaboss to use his Angolmois Ball attack to break up the combiner into his component parts. Generations Selects comic
When God Neptune formed to do battle with Purple Wicked Convoy and Megatron Omega to gather Star Power for his mystery benefactor, he at first utilized the Matrix Saber as his bladed weapon. After the Primus Vanguard showed up to confiscate their fancy weapons, God Neptune came crawling back and the Angolmois Energy-enhanced Neptune Sword handily bifurcated White Convoy Grand Prime. Unfortunately, Purple and Megatron took advantage of all the commotion to blow God Neptune to smithereens with a combination attack.
But just as all was lost, a miracle occurred. When the Neptune Sword cut through White Gallant Convoy, it had absorbed his spirit. Halfshell, at last able to hear the gentle affirmations of his stalwart blade, was filled with the determination to give Megatron Omega's head a new hole. Absorbing the leaking Star Power, Halfshell reconstituted God Neptune and chopped Megatron Omega clean in half with the Neptune Sword. (He got better.) God Neptune comic 2

- The Neptune Sword is a bronze redeco of Piranacon/King Poseidon's unnamed sword. It was only available as part of the Beast Wars II God Neptune boxset.
- Tragically, a great number of unboxed Neptune Swords did not end up available on the secondary market.
- The Neptune Sword was later repurposed as some loser sword without a name in the comic arc Beast Wars Shattered Glass.

- The Generations Selects version of the Neptune Sword is a redeco of Selects King Poseidon's again-unnamed sword. While King Poseidon's constituents were released individually, God Neptune is a 5 pack exclusive, omitting Lobclaw as happened in the original release. The Neptune Sword is formed by merging the weapons of the component Seacons. Due to the Gang-molded nature of the toys it comes with, the unpainted parts of the trident blades are not the same colors as each other. Whoops!
- The God Neptune set was announced in May 2020 for an October 2020 release. It was exclusive to TakaraTomy Mall and Hasbro Pulse.
