Nightbeat, along with fellow classmates Siren and Hosehead, was perplexed by the addition of Sari Sumdac to her class. Under the tutelage of Arcee, the class took a field trip to The Metroplex. Nightbeat became excited when Sari became separated from the class, sensing a mystery afoot. Notes
- Generation 1 Nightbeat and Minerva shared a mold, so it makes sense that Animated Nightbeat would share one with Minerva, as well as Arcee. She also gets a new head based on Muzzle.
- Nightbeat first appeared as a profile in The Complete AllSpark Almanac before making her in-fiction debut in "The Return of Blurr" script reading at BotCon 2015.
- Like some other examples, Animated Nightbeat's gender differs from the original.
- Nightbeat's personality seems to be inspired by fellow female detective, Batgirl.
