The nuclo-deatomiser cannon appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.
The Triggerbots Backstreet, Dogfight, and Override followed Dreadwind and Darkwing to Earth to find out what their secret mission was. Unfortunately they were spotted as they neared the planet and, combined into Dreadwing, the Decepticons attacked. When Override suggested pulling out the shuttle's "big guns", Dogfight was enthusiastic about giving Dreadwing a taste of the nuclo-deatomiser cannon before Backstreet pointed out that if they reduced the Decepticons to atoms they wouldn't be able to ask them any questions afterwards.
