Ratbat is lucky that a mask is all that's needed to conserve his secret identity.

Synopsis

On ABN, Slamdance has been investigating the activities of the vigilante Batbot. Disgusted by this so-called hero, Slamdance has brought on a guest; millionaire self-help guru Ratbat, who is secretly Batbot himself! Ratbat claims that while Batbot can be dangerous, many think he does good for the city, including himself. Slamdance proceeds to bring up a file photo of Batbot next to Ratbat, asking him if he notices anything. Ratbat begins to sweat nervously, but Slamdance, apparently ignorant of the resemblance between the two, goes on to call Batbot ugly.

• Slamdance was previously seen investigating Batbot in the second installment.

Transformers references

• Ancient Autobot (a font created by Jim Sorenson based on the Cybertronian typeface seen in Transformers episode "Cosmic Rust") can be seen in a ticker at the bottom of the screen. Translated, it reads "-LTIVERSAL TRAVELER VECTOR PRIME ALWAYS LIES ABOUT FIVE FACES OF DARKNE-", in reference to an Ask Vector Prime segment from the from The AllSpark Almanac II in which Vector Prime named the previous leaders seen in Rodimus Prime's Matrix flashback in "Five Faces of Darkness, Part 4". Of course, it would be in ABN's interests to claim that heroic goody-goods like Vector are liars.
