The Headmasters cartoon

As part of peace negotiations with the Decepticons, Spike, Carly, and Daniel Witwicky met with Galvatron—actually Sixshot in disguise—on Shangri-La Island. Both were accompanied by the Headmasters of their respective factions. Once the two met, "Galvatron" demanded to hold Carly and Daniel hostage, a condition to which Spike reluctantly agreed. Once Carly and Daniel were placed in a room suited next to the Horrorcons outside, "Galvatron" and Spike went into talks. "Galvatron" started off by refusing to accept Spike's claims to neutrality as long as he lived on the Autobot outpost of Athenia. He, however, conceded that if Daniel would live on Earth, then he would recognize Spike as a neutral party. Spike was forced to accept the Decepticon's ultimatum.

The talks were in actuality just a stalling tactic for the Decepticons to prepare for a massive energy-plundering operation in space, which Punch discovered in his undercover identity as the Decepticon Counterpunch. The Autobots on Earth were alerted to the deception, and Chromedome crashed the talks to reveal "Galvatron"'s true identity. After a bit of a scuffle, the Earth-bound Decepticons retreated and the Witwickys united safely. Daniel Faces His Biggest Crisis Ever!!
