Slam rail

Contained within the filaments connecting the planets of the Hub Network, the slam rail is an inter-planetary transit system.

When Rodimus Prime and the Autobots' pre-emptive "surgical strike" on the Hub went awry, the members of their beachhead team on Z-9-#J-4 were forced to run for the slam rail system as they came under attack from hordes of Cybertronians. However, they were outclassed by their pursuers and failed to reach the network before Rodimus Prime surrendered to Jhiaxus. The War to End All Wars, Part 3
With the Autobot forces locked up in The Corral, Jhiaxus attempted negotiations with their leader in the High Chamber but the Wreckers were hiding out in the slam tubes and began striking vulnerable points along the Hub's infrastructure. Outraged, Jhiaxus ordered the execution of the Autobots Joyride, Sky High, Crosshairs, and Brainstorm and was about to order the executions of the Autobots in four more cages when Rodimus admitted that the Wreckers were operating dark and he couldn't call them off. The Wreckers continued to use the slam rail system to destroy parts of the Hub Network until Jhiaxus and the Cybertronians were defeated. The War to End All Wars, Part 4
