Starscope wants nothing more in life then to be a star, and we're not talking movies or TV, or anything like that, we mean an actual star, floating out in space. In an effort to communicate with these celestial bodies, they spend most of their nights attempting to imitate their twinkling by making strange blinking faces. So far, it hasn't worked, but the bots that walk by and see it say that it is pretty amusing.

And I love the ever expanding reach of our majestic, yet mysterious, universe.Starscope, "The Science Alliance"

After the energon surge brought the BotBots to life, Starscope and his fellow Science Alliance members remained in the science education store where they came to life, staying isolated from the other Botbots in the mall. Assisting Dr. Flaskenstein, Starscope worked on a volatile chemical experiment, which ended up literally blowing up in their faces. The aftermath was then interrupted by the Lost Bots, who had been sent to find the Science Alliance by a future version of Burgertron to prevent a future disaster. Starscope stated that they were referring to the mallwide warming, a process that would eventually destroy them all, returning them to the cosmic dust from which they all originated, leaving the Lost Bots confused. Dr. Flaskenstein clarified that the Science Alliance's research showed that the sand from the nightly beach parties was clogging up the air conditioning system, with Starscope reviewing the calculations to ensure they were correct. With a bit of convincing, the Lost Bots got the Science Alliance to warn the BotBots of the damage the parties were causing. This went over very poorly, with the other BotBots deciding to party harder than ever and kick more sand into the AC unit.

Dejected, the Lost Bots and Science Alliance received another message from future Burgertron, who told them to "Use your strengths!" The Science Alliance realized that a musical performance might help get the message across to the masses, with Starscope taking lead vocals. One rocking edutainment performance later, they convinced the party-goers to stop dumping the sand into the AC unit and reuse it each night instead. The concert also dramatically improved the Science Alliance's social standing, with Starscope signing autographs. He and the other Science Alliance members ditched the Lost Bots and headed off to an after party with the Hunger Hubs. The Science Alliance

At Spud Muffin's request, Starscope and the Science Alliance help engineer the Fun-O-Meter to prove his party was the most fun one ever held by any BotBot ever. The Goldrush Games - Part the First

Notes

  • Starscope's Hasbro BotBots website bio uses female pronouns. However, the BotBots cartoon depicts them as male.
  • In the cartoon, Starscope's body is adorned with star/planet decals. This is a detail borrowed from Professor Scope's toy, which is a recolor of Starscope.
