Transformers: Beast Wars 10th Anniversary was a small toyline, released by Hasbro in 20052006 to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Beast Wars franchise.

The line largely consisted of toy molds originally released in 1996, redecoed or retooled with the intent of making them show-accurate (though results varied). The toyline’s packaging evoked that of the original Beast Wars line and, in celebration of its associated fiction, each figure came with either a DVD or mini-comic.

In Japanese markets, Takara had already begun their own tenth anniversary celebrations with the brief Beast Wars Reborn line, following it up in 2007 with the Beast Wars Telemocha Series. After the anniversary was over, it would be nearly fifteen years until a new Beast Wars-centric toyline materialized in the form of War for Cybertron: Kingdom.

The first two waves consisted of original Beast Wars molds given extensive paint jobs. Each came packaged with a DVD of a relevant episode of the Beast Wars cartoon, as well as one piece of the Transformers franchise's first “build-a-figure”: Trans-Mutate.

The third wave introduced the toyline's only original molds: new Deluxe Class figures of Optimus Primal and Megatron. As per comments by Aaron Archer at BotCon 2005, the pair were designed to fit in with the Jungle Planet aesthetic of the concurrent Transformers: Cybertron toyline—including Cyber Key compatible action features—just in case the third wave's release fell through. Instead of a DVD, each toy featured a mini-comic of the then-recent The Gathering #1, and instead of a piece of Trans-Mutate, each included a miniature model of their faction's respective spaceship.
