Yeller
From Transformers Wiki
- Yeller is a dog from the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.
This character has no official visual representation in any Transformers product or media... yet, at least.
Yeller is a mangy good-for-nothing (but well-loved) yellow Labrador retriever even more ancient and decrepit than his owner, Jake Williams (in dog years). Yeller is riddled with cancer and not long for the world.
He likes to chase rabbits and watch his owners have sex.
Fiction
Lonesome Diesel
Yeller and his owner were out chilling in the desert when they were found by the Mini-Con QuickFire. Yeller immediate jumped into Riptide, the Mini-Con's dormant Bulk friend, and lured his master in as well. QuickFire healed them both, Jake of the many things ailing him, and Yeller of his cancer, giving the dog a new lease on life. When Jake accepted QuickFire's offer and the pair teamed up to keep on trucking, Yeller came along too.
Some seven months later, they were alerted to a Decepticon attack in Yellowstone National Park and rocketed to aid the Autobots there. Although Jake and Yeller were told to hang back, but Jake came to QuickFire's aid anyway, ramming his beloved truck into Megatron to make him drop the Mini-Con. When Megatron tried to strike Jake, Yeller urinated on his fist, provoking a cry of alarm from the Decepticon leader. After the battle, Jake and Yeller returned to trucking with Riptide and QuickFire. Lonesome Diesel
Notes
- Yeller is presumably named for the eponymous dog in the 1956 novel Old Yeller.
