First appearance: The Death of Optimus Prime

A former Autobot, Zetca was one of the many Cybertronians who had decided to abandon the war. He, like many others, spent time travelling the universe, making a living for themselves and trying to avoid the conflict between the Autobots and Decepticons, until the day that Vector Sigma sent out a message revealing that Cybertron had been brought back to "life". Returning to the planet, he was less than pleased with the condition it was in and was not happy to put up with the Autobots or Optimus Prime in particular. Metalhawk managed to calm him down slightly, pointing out that reacting violently to the situation would just lead to the same situation that led to the war four million years ago. In hopes of alleviating the situation, Optimus left the planet. The Death of Optimus Prime

Horri-Bull and Needlenose, now acting as "enforcers" for the Autobots, got in a spat with Zetca. The small NAIL was overwhelmed by the Decepticons, but Bumblebee, after warning Horri-Bull, detonated the inhibitor/deterrence chip in the Decepticon's head after he refused to back off. The Autonomy Lesson In revenge for his part in Horri-Bull's death, the Decepticons chose Zetca as the fall guy for the assassination of Bumblebee, but Prowl was able to put a stop to the plot. The World & Everything in It When Sky-Byte arrived, Metalhawk showed him to his fellow NAILs. When asked, Zetca told him about the recent events he'd experienced. A Better Tomorrow

During the Decepticon riots caused by the return of Megatron, Zetca holed up in Maccadam's New Oil House alongside some friends. City on Fire The bar was eventually burned down, forcing them to evacuate The Verge and make it to Fixit's medbay. Before the Dawn Unfortunately that building was destroyed as well, and an injured Zetca could do nothing but watch as his fellow NAIL Hipotank was killed by Decepticons. Plan for Everything During the battle, he and his pals prevented Needlenose from offing Swindle and some injured Autobots. Pointing a gun at the Decepticon, Zetca cited the horrible things he and the other Decepticons had done to the NAILs as a reason to just shoot him, but instead showed mercy and let Needlenose flee. Heavy Is the Head

Zetca was among the civilians evacuated from Iacon when the city was devastated by the Necrotitan. Finis Temporis

As Cybertron began to settle down after the Necrotitan's rampage, Zetca took a job at Iacon Spaceport 1. He worked with Sizzle and Tracks coordinating in-bound and out-bound flights in Iacon airspace. Lagrange Following Optimus Prime's annexation of Earth into the Council of Worlds, Zetca was among those on Cybertron publicly protesting what they saw as Optimus's imperialism. The Medium and the Message When an army of undead Titans approached Cybertron, Starscream ordered Zetca to patch all ships through to him so that he could draft them into the defense effort. Ping

When Unicron attacked Cybertron, Zetca was among Tracks' personnel in trying to calm the Decepticon mobs. Our Finest

  • Zetca (Masterforce Warrior, 1988)
A redeco of the Powermaster Nebulan Rev, Zetca transforms from an armored human into an engine block that can fit in the engine-plug of any Powermaster/Godmaster toy, unlocking their transformation features.
Like his fellow Masterforce Warriors Aquastar and Vollet, he was sold only as an individual in a very small box in the Super-God Masterforce toyline.
This mold was also used to make the Godmaster engine form of Lightfoot.

Notes

  • "Zetca" was the name of Takara's line of die-cast miniature toys that included properties like Star Wars, Space Pirate Captain Harlock, and real-life spacecraft. The name of the "space alloy" those toys were supposedly made from, it appears to be a made-up sci-fi word.
