Chunky Panday reacts to a comment describing Aditya Roy Kapur as 'damad' amid his breakup with Ananya Panday

Aditya Roy Kapur recently amused fans by starring in an advertisement alongside Chunky Panday, the father of his rumoured ex-girlfriend, Ananya Panday. In the ad, set on a beach, Chunky sells the drink to Aditya. A few days ago, Chunky shared behind-the-scenes photos on his Instagram where he shared a happy selfie with Aditya. Amid Ananya's breakup with Aditya, Chunky reacted to a comment on the post which described Aditya as his son-in-law.
Several fans took to the comments section and loved the ‘father-in-law and son-in-law’ bonding. One of the users commented, “Apne damad ke sath it’s joking Pasta ka Akhiri rasta.” This specific comment gained the attention as Chunky reacted to it by liking it. It made fans wonder whether everything is fine between Ananya and Aditya.
Earlier, in April the rumours of the couple breakup were doing rounds on the social media platforms. Ananya had shared an eye-catchy note to her Instagram story which read, “If it is truly meant for you, it will come back to you. It will leave only for the sake of teaching you the lessons you could only learn on your own. If it is truly meant for you, it will return even if you’ve pushed it away, even if you’re in denial, even if you assume something so beautiful could never be truly yours – because if it’s truly meant for you, it is never not a piece of you. It is never not intricately tied into the depths of your soul.”
Later, a close friend of both the actors stated to Bombay Times, “They broke up almost a month ago. They were going quite well, and the breakup came as a shock to all of us. They are cordial with each other. Ananya is trying to move on; of course, there’s hurt. She is spending time with her new furry friend. Aditya is also trying to deal with the situation maturely.”
Also, it should be noted that Ananya and Aditya have not reacted to their breakup rumours, and they never opened up about their relationship.
