‘Kalki 2898 AD’: Prabhas says working with Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan is ‘an achievement beyond anything’

Prabhas starrer ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is gearing up for release on June 27. The film directed by Nag Ashwin is reportedly made on a massive budget of Rs 600 crore and also has some of the biggest stars in India including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone.
In a recent interview with Deadline, Prabhas expressed his joy in teaming up with some of the finest actors in the country for ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, and also added that he had never thought he would work with legends like Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan.“I never thought I would work with people like Amitabh Sir and Kamal Sir [at all], let alone in one film,” Prabhas said. He also revealed that when he heard about the collaboration with these legendary actors, he immediately dialed the producer and asked ‘What are you giving me.” Prabhas also stated that working with legends like Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan, for him is an achievement beyond anything.
During the interview, Prabhas also stated that the whole film is made for international audiences, and that is the reason why it is also the highest-budget film and has the best actors from the country.

Touted to be a mythology-inspired sci-fi film,‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is shot in Telugu and will be releasing simultaneously in five languages. Prabhas plays the role of Bhairava in the film. The makers have dropped some promotional glimpses of the film, and the response from the movie buffs is humungous.
