How to make natural smudge-free Kajal in 10 minutes

Kajal is a staple makeup item found in every desi girl’s vanity. You need to admit that there is no other makeup product like a kajal that creates such a fine and intrinsic impact on our face just with one stroke. Make your eyes look more defined, powerful, and talkative, it would be a crime to wear a kajal every day. However, the creation of kajal never started in India, but its roots come from the streets of ancient Morocco.
This beauty product originated in Arabic origin where women in ancient Egypt used it way back in 311 B.C.
making it a favourite item for all women. But, for centuries it was used as a basic kitchen item. This would make you keen to know that you can create your homemade natural kajal using minimal ingredients and with little patience in under 10 minutes, you will be able to create a dark ray of kajal on your own.

Steps to make kajal at home
The ingredients: To create a smudge-proof kajal at home you simply require a diya, two steel plates, two small bowls, and castor oil.
Step 1:
Put a cotton wick inside the diya and light it up. Next place the bowls on either side of it, and apply a few drops of castor oil on the steel plate and then place it on the top of the bowls.
Step 2:
You will gradually notice that the plate will start to heat and in around 30 minutes, you will see the castor oil burn and you will see soot be collected, after which you need to scrape it off.
Step 3:
Now, allow the soot to cool down before applying it. One can also add a drop or two of castor oil to make a slightly liquid and then store it in a container and keep applying either with your fingertips or with a stick.
