“How very, very fascinating.” Deaton hums, as he analyzes Peter’s aura. “This really is quite exciting.”
Peter wants to tear Deaton’s throat out with his fangs. He wants to sink his claws into the man’s rib cage and snap the bones one by one and watch what’s left drip down into drain in the middle of the tiled floor, that would be fascinating. But instead of fangs, he has mundane human teeth, and in lieu of claws, nothing but a manicure he’d rather not ruin.

It takes years for things to work out between Peter and Stiles, even if they've both known where things were heading from their first meeting. Well, where things were heading for their relationship, at least. The professional life of crime is more of a surprise.
Sliding in just before the buzzer with my work for @steterweek based on this year's visual prompts! Everything was so pretty and fancy, and I immediately got wedding vibes. I thought for a while about doing a Steter wedding, but got the plot bunny in my brain about crime husbands Steter doing a heist at a wedding instead, and ran with it.

- Summary: Stiles is a big believer in learning from his past mistakes, so after the third time he loses all his clothes in the dryer, he does the reasonable thing and takes precautions. Specifically, he takes a waterproof marker and scribbles his number onto his socks. Because if his soulmate is going to continue stealing all of his clothing, a text is the least they can do.

So I did a thing and wrote a story a day for Steter Week 2024. I used the visual and text prompts from @steterweek (which they were awesome enough to drop well in advance!) and came up with a series.
Thanks to everyone involved in Steter Week 2024 for the wonderful prompts and all their work in keeping this event going. This is my first time writing for a challenge and I really enjoyed it. I hope all of you readers do, too. :)
