Wanted to get something with my Death Note OC in before the party ends 👀 Lee works part-time as a forensic/criminal sketch artist and one day Near asks her to draw L.
She wanted to be a successor but never made the cut, so she doesn't understand why Near is so fixated on the previous L when he already is L.

The page featuring the panel with Near insulting Takada’s intellect is placed directly beneath the one where he’s fooling around with rubber ducks. Imagine badmouthing a To Oh university elite and then resuming your Sesame Street tomfoolery with a straight face. Near is something else. He has no shame.

The more days I live the more I find Takada absolutely moronic. She spews senseless Kira extremist bs to make herself feel important, she indulges in the fame that being the "Kira Queen" gives her
She has the capacity to use her head yet refuses to question anything around her
Near isn't particularly mean about Misa unlike the rest of the cast (albeit he never had to interact with her) but he looks down on Takada. It's a particular type of stupidity that ruffles his feathers.
And I must say I share the sentiment
So I took the liberty to provide alternative translations for Near's roast (cuz boy is SASSY)
I do agree with him overall, Takada is pretentious. I just find the fact that he’s so judgmental and straight-faced while fiddling around with rubber ducks to be cosmically ironic. 😭
He takes himself so seriously while being such a goofball.

No for sure it's meant to be ironic how he's simultaneously the most child-like and yet arguably one of the wiser/more mature characters + a whole lot of judgmental and sass 🤣🤣🤣

In addition to that, Mello might come up with something like Mycrazy McFucker
Matt will simply refer to the culprit as The Unaliver
(I still can't figure out what Near will call him ... he can either be extremely creative and sassy or extremely low effort as a method for psychological war fare - Light isn't worth the time he'd spend coming up with a nickname)
