The purpose of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) is to promote innovative, comprehensive and sustainable migration policies and to function as a service exchange mechanism for governments and organisations. Migration is one of the most important political issues in the current debates - frequently connected with highly emotional, sometimes even extreme or populistic point of views. ICMPD strives for being a sober and neutral companion in this discourse by bringing all important players around the same table. ICMPD has vast experience in bridging the gap between theory and practice. According to that ICMPD provides policy makers and politicians with necessary groundwork to take decisions. Furthermore ICMPD is present on the ground, with its capacity building activities in various areas of migration management.

Organisation le 14 août 2024 par ICMPD et l'Observatoire National de la Migration (ONM) de l'atelier de restitution de la note d’orientation stratégique sur l’aspect juridique de la protection sociale des travailleurs tunisiens à l’étranger au profit du Centre de Recherches et d'Etudes Sociales (CRES). En marge de l'atelier, une convention d'échange de données a été signée entre l'ONM et le CRES dont l'un des objectifs est d'alimenter le système national d'informations MIGRADATA, hébergé et administré par l'ONM, permettant une #modernisation 🟢 et une #professionnalisation 🔵 dans le traitement des données sur la migration, permettant ainsi une #Gouvernance 🔴 de la migration basée sur des données probantes. Cette action s’inscrit dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre de la composante 1 « #Gouvernance 🔴 de la migration » du programme #ProGreS_Migration_Tunisie - Phase II, financé par l’Union européenne (#UE) à travers le Fonds fiduciaire d’urgence (FFU) #AfricaTrustFund, et mise en œuvre par ICMPD. #MigrationCapacityPartnerships

📷 Dans le cadre du partenariat entre l'Institut de formation sur le partenariat pour les capacités migratoires en Méditerranée (MCP Med TI), le projet ProGres Migration Tunisie - Phase II et le bureau de ICMPD en Tunisie, une formation sur la diplomatie économique et le rôle de la diaspora a été conclue à Tunis. Organisée du 15 au 19 juillet 2024, la formation a réuni des formateurs et des participants de Jordanie, du Liban et de Tunisie et a permis l'obtention de certificat reconnus par l'Union européenne à des représentants du ministère des Affaires étrangères, de la Migration et des Tunisiens à l'étranger et du ministère des Affaires sociales de Tunisie, ainsi qu'au ministère des Affaires étrangères et des Expatriés et au ministère de l'Intérieur de Jordanie. #Gouvernance des migrations #Professionnalisation #MCPinAction #TogetherWeDeliver #MigrationGovernance #Professionalisation #MCPinAction #TogetherWeDeliver
