In this article we offer a response to each of the authors who participated in the exchange. But ... more In this article we offer a response to each of the authors who participated in the exchange. But instead of responding to each one separately, we decided to organise our writing around three themes. In the first place, we propose an intellectual, militant and biographical description that helps to put the original motivations of our book Seven Essays on Populism into context. Secondly, we offer a reflection on the role of ontology in our text, paying special attention to the critiques made by Barros & Martínez Prado, Bosteels and Marchart. Thirdly, we conclude with a deepening of the link between populism and feminism, paying special attention to the lucid observations of Barros & Martínez Prado and Gunnarsson-Payne.

El artículo explora la articulación entre lo femenino y lo plebeyo desde una ver- sión contemporá... more El artículo explora la articulación entre lo femenino y lo plebeyo desde una ver- sión contemporánea de la tragedia de Antígona. Se muestra primero cómo Hegel y Kierkegaard configuraron una lectura filosófica que presta atención tanto a su dimen- sión ético-política, como a su dimensión trágica. Se estudian, luego, las reescrituras que hacen Zambrano y Žižek de la tragedia de Sófocles, y cómo nos permiten pensar lo femenino y lo plebeyo en la filosofía ético-política contemporánea. Finalmente se expone la necesidad de un puente entre ambas figuras.

En este artículo reconstruyo críticamente la lectura que hace Butler sobre la dialéctica del amo ... more En este artículo reconstruyo críticamente la lectura que hace Butler sobre la dialéctica del amo y el esclavo en Hegel. Para ello, recojo los dos aspectos originales de su interpretación: el lugar del cuerpo y el papel de la conciencia desventurada. En segundo lugar, reviso la conexión que establece entre la estructura de sujeción de esta dialéctica y la noción de sujeción y subjetivación en Foucault. Tomo distancia del tratamiento de este vínculo y planteo una relación distinta entre Hegel y Foucault. Y esto supone, por un lado, proponer una lectura alternativa a la subjetivación en Foucault e incorporar la interpretación que Malabou hace de la dialéctica del amo y el esclavo a partir de su diálogo con Butler.

Para comprender más profundamente las experiencias populistas que se desplegaron en América Latin... more Para comprender más profundamente las experiencias populistas que se desplegaron en América Latina, es necesario construir un marco teórico, en clave populista y republicana, que abandone el legado por el cual se piensa al pueblo como «lo otro» del Estado y que permita pensar una recíproca interpelación. Para ello resulta de utilidad adentrarse en algunos debates clásicos entre populismo y socialismo y en otros más recientes entre populismo y autonomismo, con la finalidad de revisitar el rol del Estado y las instituciones al pensar la emancipación y la autodeterminación popular.

El libro de Luciana Cadahia, Mediaciones de lo sensible: hacia una economía crítica de los dispos... more El libro de Luciana Cadahia, Mediaciones de lo sensible: hacia una economía crítica de los dispositivos, se propone reactivar el concepto de dispositivo desde una perspectiva foucaultiana, la cual, en lugar de contraponer enteramente las nociones de poder y emancipación, en-tiende las operaciones de contaminación y de mutua potenciación entre ambas. Con ello, la perspectiva de Cadahia le permite pensar en una crítica política del presente que, en lugar de entender la resistencia política como resistencia al poder, busca más bien entender los modos como, al interior del derecho y del Estado, se puede configurar tam-bién un espacio productivo de resistencia. Para hacerlo, Cadahia traza una genealogía del concepto de dispositivo en los autores del idealis-mo alemán Friedrich Schiller y G. W. F. Hegel, en la que encuentra una posibilidad de rescatar la potencia mediadora del concepto de disposi-tivo vis a vis una interpretación exclusivamente negativa del mismo en * Los siguientes comentarios fueron leídos en una primera versión en la presentación del libro de Luciana Cadahia organizado por el Departamento de Filosofía de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana el 4 de mayo de 2018. Presenté el libro en compañía de Jorge Aurelio Díaz, quien ha publicado sus comentarios en un número anterior de Ideas y Valores (cf. Díaz). A continuación, más que una reseña, se presentan las preguntas y discusiones que me surgieron de la lectura del libro de Cadahia, junto con la respuesta de la autora.

Objetivo/contexto: El artículo analiza la relación entre el Estado y las élites financieras en Ecuador durante el gobierno de Rafael Correa (2007-2014), enmarcado en lo que se conoce como giro a la izquierda. Este gobierno emprendió una lucha descorporativizadora para desacoplar la gestión estatal de los intereses privados que habían capturado al Estado durante el ciclo neoliberal. Esto implicó dos movimientos simultáneos: quebrar la institucionalidad vigente en distintos ámbitos de política pública (educación, finanzas, salud, medios de comunicación, entre otros) regentados por actores de veto con intereses particulares y, al mismo tiempo, edificar una nueva institucionalidad capaz de responder a intereses y demandas más amplias, en una clave democrática e inclusiva. Metodología: La exploración empírica de este caso se efectuó con una metodología cualitativa basada en el análisis hemerográfico y normativo y el rastreo de procesos, lo cual permitió ofrecer evidencia sobre mecanismos de captura y descorporativización del Estado, en el marco de gobiernos H Este artículo presenta los resultados de la investigación titulada "¿Populismo republicano? Un estudio comparado del vínculo entre derechos y democracia en Ecuador y Argentina de la última década" (código IP 974), financiada por la Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales-Sede Ecuador, a través del Fondo de Desarrollo Académico. Hacia una nueva lógica del populismo: de la ruptura de las instituciones a la institucio-nalidad populista. Recerca. Revista de Pensament i Anàlisi, 25(1), pp. 1-20. Publicación en avance. Resumen En este artículo estudiaremos el vínculo entre las instituciones y el populismo mediante una experiencia concreta: la asignación universal por hijo (AUH) en Argentina. Para ello, va-mos a dividir el artículo en tres partes. Primero, desarrollaremos un tipo de abordaje metodo-lógico específico: el procedimiento coyuntural recogido por Mouffe para pensar el actual momento populista. Segundo, explicitaremos el debate teórico alrededor del vínculo entre instituciones y populismo y las dificultades que existen para pensar esta relación. Tercero, partiremos del caso concreto de la AUH, con objeto de mostrar sus tres momentos constituti-vos: el surgimiento de la demanda popular, su apropiación y tramitación por parte del Go-bierno y la transformación de la demanda en un derecho. Finalmente, señalaremos, a partir del caso estudiado, cómo la conflictividad rupturista de la institucionalidad populista puede ayu-darnos a pensar, transnacionalmente, una lógica alternativa al neoliberalismo.
