FARMING FACT: Improving soil health could lead to an extra 2 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide being taken out of the atmosphere by 2030, according to the World Economic Forum. Agricarbon is a climate technology company conducting carbon measurement in soil, supported by Barclays for next level growth through our Unreasonable Impact programme and an equity investment from Sustainable Impact Capital. They help farmers obtain precise soil carbon data, which is useful because carbon rich soil… ✅ Removes carbon from the atmosphere ✅ Makes crop yields stronger ✅ Increases water retention in the soil ✅ Promotes biodiversity of farms Adding more nitrogen into soil can also help farmers increase the carbon content of their soil.

    Group Chief Internal Auditor, Barclays

Last night, the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors held their annual Audit and Risk awards. I am thrilled to share that our Ama Ofori won the prestigious DEI Champion award. This award is testament to Ama’s many years of hard work and dedication to the DEI cause, and I know she plays such an important and impactful role within the Internal Audit community.   Ama is an outstanding advocate for our profession and I’m so pleased she was recognised. I am immensely proud of the achievement, and it was great to be there to celebrate with her. Well done Ama!
