Sustainability is part of who we are at Butternut 🌏 As a purpose driven company and a BCorp, we know that we can’t be the industry leaders in Fresh dog food without caring about our impact 💛 We also know that the only way to be successful for the long haul is by doing business in a way that considers the needs of all our partners - our customers, our squad, our communities, and of course, the environment 🌱 Whilst we hold our paws up and acknowledge this is not something that can be achieved overnight, we are incredibly proud of the progress we have made so far and are committed to continually finding ways to improve. In 2023 we: - Significantly reduced the carbon intensity of our meals - Introduced Paws Days and our first ever sabbatical policy to enhance the wellbeing, learning, and development of our squad 🐾 - Further supported our local communities, by increasing the number of our charity partners and the hours volunteered across all locations 💛 - Partnered with Sedex to help us manage and improve social and environmental sustainability in our supply chain and introduced two new lower carbon protein meals to our Fresh range Read all about it on our 2023 Annual Impact Report below 👇

Imagine if we had an open day for dogs 😜

When a young company starts to grow up.... 🥹 We have had the pleasure of seeing three of our squad members in the Box Office become dads recently and here they are... three, shiny new dads fresh off paternity leave! 😍 At Butternut, we offer a six week full pay paternity leave. We are fully committed to helping working parents balance the needs of work and family life. It's such an important and exciting time for families and we are #DedicatedAndDetermined to do our best to support. Happy Father's Day 💛

As a company, we love Fresh Food and we want everyone to hear about it 📣 During our recent launch with Pets at Home, we were #DedicatedAndDetermined to ensure all their staff were fully equipped and also heard all about all the benefits. To show our gratitude to the staff members at Pets at Home for getting involved, we surprised each store with a Butternut Box swag box, and here’s what’s inside 👀 ✨ A specially designed water bottle and tote bag (which has become the hottest item in our office!) ✨ Cosy Butternut beanies and gloves to keep warm during those chilly times spent in the freezers. We believe that spreading kindness, shouting out about fresh food and showing #GenuineCare can make a big difference 💛 📸 Here’s a snapshot of some of the amazing staff from the New Malden store receiving their swag boxes. They look pretty happy to us! 😁
