The new BLEU DE CHANEL film is an invitation to discover the many facets of a man who is forging his own path. An actor's conflict between celebrity and staying true to himself. A dialogue between Timothée Chalamet's artistic sensibility and Martin Scorsese's virtuosity. BLEU DE CHANEL, the color of a vision that is not held back by any limits. That of a quest for something bigger, something beyond what the eye can see. Directed by Martin Scorsese “Rockit” Written by Herbert J Hancock/Michael James Beinhorn/Bill O Laswell Interpreted by Herbie Hancock Discover on https://lnkd.in/ewXFQEZU

Carried by a wind of freedom, the CHANEL Cruise 2024/25 show was held at the MAMO, Centre d’art de la Cité radieuse in Marseille. The collection imagined by Virginie Viard combines an underwater reverie with reflections of the sun through embroideries, diving hoods, sequinned jackets and swimwear. Shouldered peacoats and black patent shoes pay tribute to menswear. Embroidered with little flowers, the CHANEL little black dress takes on seaside accents. Curiosity, generosity, a belief in what is coming next. These enduring principles are a part of Chanel’s legacy, extending back to the founding of the House. And they are evident in the winners of the CHANEL Next Prize. The awardees arrived at the Venice Biennale, the most significant event in contemporary art, from seven countries across four continents. Each exhibits the creativity, courage and audacity to imagine the ideas of the future. The CHANEL Next Prize, the first international arts award from the House, creates the conditions for contemporary artists to dare. #CHANELNextPrize #CHANELCultureFund #CHANEL

At the Venice Biennale, Chanel provided exceptional support to the France Pavilion, featuring the artist, poet, sculptor and scholar Julien Creuzet. Born in Paris, Creuzet travelled across the ocean as a child to his family’s ancestral home on the Caribbean island of Martinique. Creuzet is now a professor at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris and one of the leading voices in contemporary art. Using salvaged materials, Creuzet possesses a prodigious ability to weave together seemingly disparate things: to stitch and sew what might seem like discarded off-cuts into single, coherent creations, to give salvaged or simple things a sudden form, shape and meaning. The House has supported the arts for more than a century. Founded in this legacy, the CHANEL Culture Fund creates the conditions for contemporary artists like Julien Creuzet to dare. Music composed by Ismaïl Lazam and interpreted by Makeda Monnet. #CHANELCultureFund #CHANEL
