The descriptive research design was used. The study was piloted by two research questions and one null hypothesis. The target population comprised all 44, 183 undergraduates at the University of Lagos, out of which 336 were selected through stratified random sampling technique. A self-designed, validated, and reliable instrument (r=.88) entitled “Technopreneurship Engagement Scale (TES)” was used for data collection. Methods of data analysis were Multiple Regression and Independent t-test. Findings showed that the joint contributions of t-ASK to the variance in technopreneurship engagement was 11.3%. Finding further showed that technological attitudinal made the highest contribution (β=.219), followed by technological knowledge (β=.137), and then, technological skills (β=.-087)...

However, there is a rising case of internet addiction among young adults of which preservice mathematics and social studies teachers are implicated. This study investigated the correlation between preservice mathematics and social studies teachers’ internet addiction and their grade point average (GPA). Likewise, the study examined the influence of gender on internet addiction. A descriptive survey research design was implemented in the study with 300 preservice mathematics and social studies teachers and primary data collected with Internet Addiction Test (IAT, Cronbach alpha coefficient=0.92) were analysed using mean, standard deviation, independent samples t-test, Pearson product moment correlation coefficient and simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that preservice mathematics and social studies teachers’ internet addiction had statistically significant negative relationship with their GPA. More so, internet addiction contributed significantly to the prediction of preservice mathematics and social studies teachers’ GPA. Gender contributed significantly to the prediction of preservice mathematics and social studies teachers’ internet addiction. In addition, there was a significant influence of gender on preservice mathematics and social studies teachers’ internet addiction with males showing higher internet addiction than their female counterparts. In line with the above findings, it was recommended that preservice mathematics and social studies teachers should lower their usage of internet and follow examples of good usage of internet technology to improve their scholastic achievement in the university. All five dimensions of service quality, being tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, were used. The questionnaire survey was conducted within one-week period. All users who came to the library during the two-week research period were asked to complete the questionnaires. The data were analysed using simple percentages and charts. The result of this study revealed that there were serious service gaps that the library administrations will need to resolve. It is hoped that the findings will also help the management establish a total quality management (TQM) programme to improve overall service quality to its users.

The affective tenor of the classroom literally contributes to or detracts from student learning. Some common teacher behaviours may cause negative student feelings, interfere with student motivation, and stymie learning. The paper makes a case for the role of student engagement and connection as the most important factors for successful teaching since individuals' affective reactions are the basis for cognitive shifts. Successful teaching must develop the whole student rather than solely deal with cognitive skill deficits. This has underlined the need for caring teachers.

One of the major focuses in this study is the responses of the government and the oil multinational oil companies towards the crises. The literature on Niger Delta crises was analysed in relation to the conflict resolution theories in a bid to understand the problem and proffer solutions to help address the issues.

The research of work-life balance involves the investigation and analysis of an individual's ability to manage all strains and stresses of life simultaneously. Conventionally, work-life balance has been assumed to be the spending of equal amounts of time to paid work and social life. However, this has changed, and several experts are beginning to see the complexity in work-life balance and therefore, there are assumptions that there are several elements involved in the achievement of work-life balance. The purpose of the research was to investigate the work-life balance of lecturers in the tertiary institutions. This was done by using a case study of University of Lagos. A total of twenty six (26) lecturers were chosen at random to participate in the research process. Interviews were used to gather valuable information regarding work-life balance from the lecturers of the University. This proved to be very crucial and useful as it provided an in-depth understanding on the views of the staff on work-life balance.

The study adopted a web-based survey using an online questionnaire that used a combination of closed-ended and open-ended questions. The population comprised all the academic staff of the university. The researcher validated the online survey by testing it with five members of the target population in a pilot survey that was carried out as part of the survey design. Feedback received from the pilot survey was used to correct unnoticed errors and ambiguities in the survey. The results revealed operational performance problems in the university arising from inadequate information processing and appropriation support. Suggestions for solving the identified problems were proffered.

Some of these out-of-school children especially school dropouts claimed to have acquired some form of skills at some skills acquisition centres run by the government, private individuals and Non-governmental organisations. There is therefore a need for an in-depth evaluation of the effectiveness of skill acquisition programmes. The result revealed that the skill acquisition programmes were ineffective at meeting the needs of the school dropouts.
