All the time the Doctor and Donna are closely watched by the sinister figure of the Empress of Racnoss (Sarah Parish). [ABC/9:40pm] Gamer Revolution. Premiere. Computer games are a global phenomenon and a $US25 billion a year industry. Over 800 million people worldwide are regular players. Gamer Revolution looks past the hype, paranoia and hoopla to explore the real stories behind the computer game revolution. Gamer Revolution explores how computer games are not only changing the world, but giving rise to a new version of life itself. The line between the real world and the virtual world is disappearing. Millions of people feel that they have a life inside these games and that it's better than their real life. In part one, Gamer Revolution takes viewers around the world from Asia to the heart of the Middle East in search of the most mind-bending stories from the cutting edge of the game revolution. It also features interviews with gamers and game developers including Will Wright, creator of the wildly popular life simulation game, The Sims. Just how pervasive has gaming become? The US army uses video games to train new recruits and to simulate real-life battle situations in preparation for combat. In Korea, computer nerds are the sex symbols of the 21st century. In Syria, a developer has designed an extremely popular shooter game in which the player gets to kill Israeli soldiers. Every year, the biggest companies in the industry try to out-do each other in an effort to create buzz for their games. It's a high-stakes business. The development cost of a new game has almost tripled in a decade. Eighty percent of games fail in the first year, but for those who succeed, the payoff is huge.

Not on The List 'til later

Seven's Rich List is taking a series break until it returns "later in the year," said a network spokesperson.

The show will be replaced by new episodes of Border Security from next Monday night.

This week The Rich List had 1.26m viewers, just behind Nine's What's Good For You at 1.29m. Despite not working in the US the show has been a success for Seven and host Andrew O'Keefe. In an ironic twist, O'Keefe's Deal or No Deal also killed off Bert's Family Feud, a show that Rich List seems to have "updated."

O'Keefe must be one of the hardest working guys in TV, co-hosting Weekend Sunrise and developing his own late-night show for the network. But how much Andrew is too much Andrew?

Number 96 Reunion

Nine actors from the iconic 70s Aussie drama Number 96 will reunite on an upcoming episode of Where Are They Now?

The racy drama on the 0-10 Network was notorious for its nudity, sexy storylines and serial killers.

On the Seven nostalgia show some of the actors who re-unite have not seen each other in thirty years. Despite the show's lightweight approach to interviews, this is a must-see for fans of Aussie drama.

Number 96 is widely recognised as the first TV show in the world to feature a long-running sympathetic gay character, played by Joe Hasham.

The episode will air Sunday July 8.

This week's guests include the Karate Kid, Ralph Macchio.

To export all things British to all corners of the galaxy - namely overpriced supermarkets, housing estates, call centres and even tractors - and protect Britain's interests in a changing galaxy. At the forefront of this expeditionary force is the HMS Camden Lock, helmed by the irrepressible, if a little tetchy, Commander Henderson. He is ably assisted by a crew of misfits. Henderson is often more concerned with securing his place in British history than just doing his job. His crew? Well, you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy…or maybe you would - borderline psychopath First Officer York, sycophantic Diplomatic Officer Teal, manic depressive Navigator Vine, loose cannon Technical Officer Jeffers and enhanced human Sandstrom. Giving them their orders is the slippery and hugely ambitious Space Marshall Clarke. Experience the highs, the lows, the anti-gravity failures, the annoying talking mops and, of course, the wars with alien races. Lots of wars. Always in the national interest, of course.
